Remember summertime? Wasn’t it great? There was all of that sunshine, sweating, and running outside! Now it’s winter and I can’t feel my fingers in the mornings. Those bars are stinkin’ cold! Anyways, enough rambling about the dog days of summer…
The toughest part of this WOD will be the squats (for most people), or getting the bar into the back squat position, as we will not be using racks for this one. Clean, jerk, lower to shoulders, and then squat. I recommend not dropping the bar until after you finish all the back squat reps, because if you do drop it, you will only have to pick it up again and that takes a lot of time and energy. When you are done with the squats, don’t worry about jerking the bar back in front of your body, just let it roll off your back and step forward. Good luck!
