Remember when Fridays were fun? Ok, they still are. I read an interesting article on the CrossFit mainsite last night titled “Why Chinese Mothers are Superior.” Check it out and let me know what you think. This is worth the read, especially if you have kids. I’m not necessarily saying that I agree with what is said, just that it is interesting. The one very important thing that I did take away from it was that ONE OF THE WORST THINGS THAT YOU CAN DO FOR SOMEONE’S SELF ESTEEM IS TO LET THEM GIVE UP. I’m paraphrasing a bit and taking it out of the parenting context, but you get the picture.

Its tough waking up so early, but I love walking out of there at 7AM or so knowing that I got up and did it. I think just showing up is about 90% of the battle for me. The rest of it just happens. I love that little hanger, even if you do make us do burpees (2 Fridays in a row).
I missed the 930am session. Was going to miss today, but I have a feeling I’m going to feel the “guilt” and just come in at 1pm. ORRRRR I’ll come in tomorrow morning and do this or something else. Blah. Right back into my addiction
I love our little hangar too! I think the best thing about the 6am class is when it is over! What I mean is that there is always an awesome sunrise reflecting off of the mountains. I am so glad that we have all of our Convicts and their addictions to feed! See you soon Shiela. I hate burpees too.
OK, I read the link. I agree with the line, “Tenacious practice, practice, practice is crucial for excellence” in a general sense. Besides that, I have so many one liners, I can’t decide which one to start with.
