Shout out of the day goes to both Johnny and Jenn. They both took their previous 1 rep max in deadlift and picked up TEN POUNDS MORE for 3 reps yesterday! Way to go you two! Bummed I missed this one, had to be to work early.
My wife says I can’t live with here next month (during the Paleo challenge). I gave here some crap for buying bread yesterday and she threatened to strangle me in my sleep.
Kind of hard to convince her to do the challenge with me when she keeps kicking my butt.
Just casually mention that all those grains are making her a little chubby. Stuff like that works great. For the record, I don’t think you’re chubby, Lee.
Ha! I wish that worked, but she would probably just start doing an all grain diet just to spite me.

Lee- I know that you could eat Paleo for 30 days straight no problem, I think we just need to put a bet on it, what do you think?
Yes- with kiddos it is a little bit more tricky to completely gut your pantry of the foods that they are used to eating. Their temper tantrums for cookies are far worse than Justin’s so I do have it a lot easier in that regard.

Bottom line….If eating Paleo was easy everyone would do it, same goes for CrossFit! Just my opinion, I could be wrong- it has happened before, only once (ya right).
So, for those of you out there that are not interested in going 100% Paleo for 30 days straight I challenge you to maybe give up just one of the things that you are struggling with in your diet(ie:sugar, beer/grains,dairy) for 30 days instead, lets just see what happens! Or maybe it is just one meal that you are having a hard time figuring out how to make it something healthy like breakfast for example maybe you are a coffee and doughnut person or you just skip it all together….how bout we just focus on that for 30 days instead.
ok how ’bout this. johnny, if you can do today’s WOD sub 4, you win: no grains. lee, if you can do it sub 4, you win: bread for kids and beer for johnny. wait. that sounds like johnny wins no matter what. oh never mind. i’m just going to hide some cookies in our guest bedroom, in case of emergency.

I like the idea of a challenge, but I would rather it include wall balls.
