The city’s building inspector has given his seal of approval. The fire marshal has said that the new building is adequate. We’re moving! For real this time. Saturday, September 24 directly following open gym we will have one final WOD: move Conviction CrossFit for time. It will be a chipper, so pace yourselves and don’t go out too hard at the beginning. We’re going to have a lot of fun doing this because there will be food and drink to follow. We will supply meat and beer, and we are currently accepting volunteers to bring side dishes. We will review your submissions for side dishes and then make our recommendations to the party planning commission. The party planning commission will then vote on which side dishes to accept. Side dish approvals are debatable, unammendable, and require a 2/3 vote. Votes will be cast by a show of hands, or on a written ballot.

 

Yesterday’s run/pullup workout was pretty tough, but you all did great. I have to give some major kudos out to Esteban Martinez. He put on a WOD clinic! He went hard on the run and was smooth on the pull ups. I’m really glad that I didn’t do the WOD with him, because I don’t like to lose. Strong work Esteban. Strong.
