It’s been a good week. We’ve seen blood, sweat, tears (I think), and also a little bit of vomit. Every bit of it was AWESOME! Well, except for the vomit. If you were one of the ones who bled, sweated, cried, or vomited…then we thank you for your patronage!
This WOD goes way back and I’m surprised we haven’t pulled it out of our bag of tricks yet. It was one of the staple lifts at Texas Tech University’s track and field program. And it sucks. It was usually done at the beginning of most lifting sessions for 3-5 cycles. 5 cycles was just about right as it took about the same amount of time as running a 400m dash…depending on how fast you lift or how slow you run. It’s an oldie but a goodie.
WOD
5 Rounds for total reps:
AMRAP 1 Minute
Combo Lift 95/135
1 Minute Rest
1 Combo lift = hang power clean, push press or jerk, back squat, push press or jerk
Great work from the Breakfast Club! Tyson did 11 rounds Rx ‘d during the first minute…it was pretty amazing!
You are all insane and I LOVE IT!!!
I haven’t felt this good or had this much energy since I was a child.
Thank you for all the support Crossfit community!!!
