Multiple times during a WOD we face fear. Fear of not finishing, fear of pain, fear that the weight will crush you if you pull underneath it, and yet day in a day out we finish the WOD and we conquer our fears.
You learn that once overcoming that fear, that it was really a mental program blocking your success.
You create a habit at CrossFit of conquering your fears and overcoming self doubt. Now, where else in your life can you bring that energy?
Create a habit of overcoming the odds, of conquering your fears, and you will learn that there is no such thing as the impossible.
Shout out to Shiela for conquering a big fear of heights. Fears are real, and having the ability to keep your wits about you and be talked through something that scares you out of your mind is HUGE!
Shout out to Janet too. Earlier in the day she read the workout and immediately just decided that she had to scale the body over bar portion of the WOD. When workout time came around, she bellied up to the bar and climbed right over!
And last, but not least a shout out goes to Peter and CC Bodyfuel for bringing some samples of Terra Vegetable Chips. Be sure and thank him for his generous contribution by ordering some of their great food. With the Nutrition Challenge in full swing, CC Bodyfuel is a great way to get a healthy meal without any work on your part. All you have to do is go to his website and place an order. They will deliver fresh, gourmet food to the gym. Be sure and check the “Now Serving” area on the right of the page to see what they are whipping up! It really is amazing food!

Thank YOU PETER! Chips are awesome.
Shiela – Super strong work yesterday. It was so awesome to see the determination to focus and get over that bar and then the excitement of conquering it. You didn’t stop there either. You progressed. You got faster every time and even showed everyone this morning how it was done. Way to be!

Michael – HOLY CRAP! I especially like the part after he clears that insane jump from what appears to be a loading dock to a ramp on the street below and he just kind let’s loose with one of those psychotic, adrenaline filled laughs
