The last sentence in the article sums it up.
The author never really answers the question he poses in the title: Does it go to far? Possibly it does for him since he thinks he can never have another doughnut unless he quits. What he doesn’t understand is that he can still have that doughnut, although very infrequently, and still do CrossFit. But it sounded like his instructor possibly didn’t scale his workouts either. Just not a well rounded article if you ask me.
