This weekend Michael Immell, Matt Pitman, Justin Ritter, Melissa (Missy) Gust, and Shondra Ritter represented CCF as athletes at the Colorado Open at Front Range CrossFit. Michael finished 26th overall with a very impressive 3.03 on the 1000m row to take FIRST PLACE in workout #2. Michael will also be participating in the Masters competition at Front Range CrossFit on October 15th and 16th. Missy  finished out the weekend in 14th place over all. Missy took  8th place on workout #3. This was absolutely amazing seeing as how this workout involved an atlas stone, something she and most all of us had no experience with at all,  to place in the top ten is not too shabby!  We are all so very proud of you Missy and happy to have you on our team! Matt, Shondra, and Justin got their very first CrossFit competition under their belts this year with Matt finishing in 63rd, Justin 22nd and Shondra in 48th we we are so proud of your accomplishments and even more excited to see what next year will bring!

Most importantly we would like to give a big THANK YOU to Jody, Sammie, Mei Ling, Tyson, Jon, Mara, Caleb, Zack, Dereck, Steven, Pete, Chris, Chase, Anna, Jeremy, Tomi, Andy, Ben, and Logan for making the drive down to show your support. You all don’t know how much it means to us to have you screaming your heads off cheering us on as we battled thru those tough workouts. Way to represent team CCF!

Also, we would like to give a big congrats to Nichole! She participated in the mud run up in Winter Park this weekend and crossed the finish line in FIRST PLACE! Way to go Nichole way to get down and dirty.
